Job Responsibilities:
- Work in a team to define, develop, implement, and support distributed systems using web-based technologies.
- Partner with business analysts and different IT functional departments to meet milestones and objectives.
- Lead the efforts of key counterparts in ADP offshore IT team.
- Provide on-call production support.
- Keep abreast of current technologies and critical business systems.
- Provide timely and accurate reporting to management and project management on work estimates, progress to plan, issues, and recommendation on alternative solutions.
Qualifications Required:
- 5+ years experience implementing production software using the following technologies: Websphere/WSAD version 5+, Struts, EJB, Java, JSP, Servlets, JavaScripts, JMS, JDBC and other J2EE technologies, web services, XML, HTML.
- Development experience working with at least one RDBMS; preferable Oracle 9i and above.
- Experience with all phases of the software delivery lifecycle; requirements analysis, design, development and unit testing, functional testing support, etc.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and interdependently to resolve complex issues in a timely manner.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- B.S. Degree in Computer Information Systems or equivalent.
